What are your ratios?

We abide by Ofsted standards and EYFS regulations and, as a minimum, work to the following ratios:

For children under the age of 2, we work as a minimum to the ratio 1:3 (1 practitioner for every 3 children)

For children aged 2 – 2.5 our ratio is a minimum of 1:4 (higher than the Ofsted requirement of 1:5.)

For children aged 2.5 – 3 our ratio is a minimum of 1:5.

For children over the age of 3 our ratio is a minimum of 1:8. (far less when we have our preschool teacher in who we have in addition)

When out of the nursery on walks or trips our ratios are adjusted, depending on whether children are walking or are travelling in our Kindervan.

For children under the age of 3, we work to a ratio of 1:3 if the children are travelling in our Kindervan, or 1:2 if they are walking.

For children over the age of 3, we work to a ratio of 1:4.
