Altrincham nursery receives award!

Altrincham nursery receives and award and gains the royal seal of approval!

It was such an honour to be one of 44 organisations presented with a 2019 Princess Royal Training Award. A highlight of our year, the awards were presented by HRH Princess Anne, at St James’ Palace.

This year’s line up was truly inspiring, including businesses such as Dermologica, RBS, and IBM. Therefore, Juice was a minnow swimming with some very big fish!

The Princess Royal Training Awards honour UK employers who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes, resulting in exceptional commercial benefits. The awards are delivered by the City & Guilds Group, global leaders in skills development. The result is an award that highlights the range and quality of training that exists in industry.

Our award was made following staff training, which led to the introduction of the Mini Me Yoga and Mindfulness programme throughout our setting.

Of note, this is what the Assessors had to say.

“Juice is an example of a nursery using yoga and positive thinking training to support the personal and professional wellbeing of its employees. Training has resulted in staff having an increased understanding as to why their own and the children’s wellbeing is so important for healthy growth and development. This has led to positive feedback from parents.”
